I always feel like....
Sometimes I get paranoid. My latest paranoia is this. Who reads my blog? It's open to EVERYONE... in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. And it kinda freaks me out. Just a little. But still enough that I believe I am soon going to be making my blog private. Sooo, if there are more than my known 2 readers and you want one of those special little invites to my blog, let me know and I'll make it happen :)

I have you on my RSS feed, so I always read new posts. I used to have my blog posted on facebook, when my next door neighbor said she had read my blog, it kinda freaked me out - so I took it off facebook. My blog is also not searchable. It is linked by relatives and a few quilting blogging friends I have met, that doesn't bother me. It is kinda fun to see where readers come from. I guess, it doesn't bother me if strangers read it, but I am selective on who reads it that I know.
This is why I use Google Analytics—but it only gives anonymous data; but sometimes I can make intelligent guesses.
Of course I wanna hear all about your dates with batman!

my friend didn't want to go private so she took some steps be me somewhat anonymous. She uses only first names and asks that anybody who links to her blog use only their first names or, even better, just the name of their blog. Her blog is also not searchable by Google. She uses Google Analytics to track traffic and has noticed a marked decrease in traffic since doing these things. (which is what she wanted.) So-consider that before going private.

Go to sitemeter.com and you can install a gadget on your blog that will tell you everyone that is stalking you.
